Conclusion from Sir Paul Kennedy
Immediate Release: 29th January 2010
Sir Thomas Legg and now Sir Paul Kennedy have reduced the sum I am required to repay from my ACA claims over the past five years, from £7,040.49 to £4,042.50. When appealing, I told Sir Paul that I would accept his decision as final and I have accordingly repaid this sum. My claims have always been modest, culminating in only a third of the sum possible for the last year under review. While accepting the outcome of the review, I remain firmly of the opinion that it has been irrational, unfair and arbitrary.
